During the quarantine write an essay, page 73 and work on Unit 7.

1) Write an essay, page 73 (SB) and send it to me in the Form (See it below)

2) Student's Book - pages 74-75 - revise the words, do all the exercises in your book except exercise 7 (listening). Send me the answers of exercise 8 (See the Form below).
3) Student's Book - page 76 and pages 138-139. Read the rules and do all the exercises in your book. Send me the answers of the exercises which are in the Form.


4) Workbook - page 74. Do the exercises in your workbook. Listen to the exercises 3 and 4 and send me the answers. 


5) Workbook - page 75. Do all the exercises in your workbook and send me the answers.

6)  During the whole quarantine do Grammar exercises (units 1-7).

For my Students of Primary and Secondary School!

Take part in 
ELTA Competition for English Language Students


ELTA is organizing a competition for English language students of primary, secondary and private schools on the topic of FRIENDSHIP.
The students are invited to:
  • create illustrations / drawings / paintings / photos / collages (only photographs, drawings and illustrations created by the students are allowed),
  • make a short video (up to 2 minutes; no use of copyrighted material is allowed) or
  • write a poem on the given topic in order to express what they feel about friendship and their friends.
The maximum number of students per project is 5.
  • Submission deadline: 10 March 2019
  • Project selection: 17-17 March 2019
  • Voting: 18-24 March 2019
  • Winners announcement: last week of March
A three-member ELTA committee will choose the best projects which will be posted on ELTA website for public voting.
The three projects with most votes in two categories, primary and secondary, will be awarded prizes.
All the participants, both teachers and students will get an electronic certificate for joining the contest.

Take part in The Project Explore Competition 2019!

Who can enter? Any teacher who teaches students age 10 – 16 can take part in the Project Explore competition.

  • Read the Terms & Conditions and the Judging Criteria.
  • Divide your students into groups of 2-6, then play The Ancient Statue video for them.
  • Ask each group to finish the story by creating a 6-panel comic strip – they can either draw it, create it digitally, or even use photographs. Try showing them a copy of our sample entry to inspire them!
  • Fill out an online entry form for each group of students and submit it alongside their work.
  • If the entry includes photographs of your students, ask their parents to complete a parental consent form.
  • All entries must be received by 29th March 2019.

Prizes:

Each student in the winning group will receive a set of Oxford University Press stationery, an Oxford University Press dictionary of their choice, and two Oxford Graded readers of their choice. Their teacher will receive a set of Oxford University Press stationery, an Oxford University Press dictionary of their choice, a copy of the Project Explore poster game, three Oxford University Press Professional Development titles of their choice, and ten Oxford Graded readers of their choice. There will also be three runner-up groups. Each student in these groups will receive a set of Oxford University Press stationery, and an Oxford Graded Reader of their choice. Their teachers will each receive a set of Oxford University Press stationery, a Project Explore poster game, an Oxford University Press Professional Development Title of their choice, and five Oxford Graded Readers of their choice.
